Adding a charge

1. Swipe the patient to the left, then tap the blue +Charge button, or hold your finger on the patient for a few seconds to start the charge entry process

2. After entering Date and Location, Under the Charges heading, tap the Green + sign to enter a charge.   

  3. Select E&M, CPT, Favorite, or Bundle beneath the global search bar.  

1. The E&M tab allows you to drilldown to a specific code through categories. You will see the most recently used CPTs at the top and the codes under drill down search.

   2. The CPT tab allows you to drilldown based off a Specialty drilldown (if applied to your profile during setup. Ex. Orthopedics) You will see the most recently used CPTs at the top and the specialty codes under drill down search.

      3. The Favorites tab will allow you to choose from CPTs you currently have saved to your favorites list. Select the CPTs you wish to enter. Tap Next in the upper right corner. Select an ICD from your Favorites or Recently Used codes. Or use the Global Search bar to find a particular code. The select Done in the upper right corner.   

    4. Bundles are a group of CPTs/ICDs billed together. You can name the bundle. When a bundle is chosen it would auto populate all codes associated to the bundle. To use bundles, these will need to be setup first in the portal by an Admin.

Using Modifiers

You can add a modifiers in two ways:

• as you select a CPT code by swiping the code to the left and tapping the green +Modifier button.
• by editing the charge before you submit (swipe left on charge > Edit codes > Change Modifier)

NOTE:

💡 Fast Charge Entry Shortcuts

• Long hold on a patient to jump right to new charge entry
• Go to your Settings and set “After Charge Entry Go To” as "Patient List" to skip the new charge summary screen
• Enable "Skip Date & Location Screen" to automatically capture charges for today's date and default location

To change the screen, you see after entering your charge, open Settings and set "After Charge Go To" to whichever screen you want to see.
